The Guitar Studio has been operating in Hertford since February of this year using the Hertford Club as our base. We offer quality guitar tuition to all ages and levels.
As of September we will be opening a guitar school and shop in Railway Place - Hertford. In addition to guitar, we also teach: bass guitar, singing, ukulele and theory of music.
The Guitar Studio is very active in promoting live music in the area and during this summer break has started Hertford's first Guitar ensemble.

Hertsbootcamp started up in January 2011 in a church hall with just 19 members to its name. 18 months on, we are now an outdoor Bootcamp and have had over 250 people through our doors (or should I say on our field!) and have now expanded into Welwyn GC as well.
We are a non-military Bootcamp that focuses on inspiring our members to get into the best shape of their lives through the use of our 'Reshape System'. This System primarily looks at getting our clients healthy, and once they have conquered this, getting into the phenomenal shape that they have always dreamed of is very simple.
We are so confident in our 'Reshape System' that we guarantee our clients Results. If they do not lose at least a clothing size or up to a stone in 28 days we will give them DOUBLE their money back and train them until they do.
Each month at BootCamp we run a Taster Week which allows those that are unsure of the BootCamp process to come down and try a whole week for FREE. During this week, we raise money for Hertsbootcamp's chosen charity, Isabel Hospice.
Hertsbootcamp is also starting up a Charity BootCamp on one Saturday morning a month, where all the family can come down and join in one of our fantastic workouts, where again we will be raising money for Local Charities, with our first being Isabel Hospice. The date of our first Charity BootCamp will be on Saturday 18th August.

Ross Cordner and Adam Knowles, both from Hertfordshire, set up Hertstrades.com in 2011.
It is an online directory for all business in Hertfordshire, and they already have over 1000 companies signed up.
Ross has a background in the construction industry and marketing; and Adam is an IT consultant and so between them they cover a wide skills set.
They have a pro active approach to advertising primarily through local radio, leaflet distributions and local press editorials. They are also proud to sponsor sports teams such as St Albans City Youth and Strike Promotions.
The way it works is that we charge a one-off fee for 12 month membership which gives you your own unique company-specific on-line profile within Hertstrades.com. This could comprise company logo, images, descriptions, qualifications, offers and reviews. In fact almost anything you choose to include enabling you to promote your business.

For nearly 10 years Neil has been involved in advising families who are faced with the difficulties of placing an elderly relative in care.
